Program Description

It is critical for organizations to build and strengthen relationships with current and future customers. There is an increasing number of tools, techniques and technologies which allow organizations, marketers and sales people to accomplish this important task. The Sales Force Automation and CRM Analytics graduate certificate will introduce students to these tools and technologies. This program will prepare graduates to cope with the increasingly technical and analytical expectations that a data-driven environment presents. The use of sales force automation and management technology to drive sales and marketing programs with a focus on data and analytics will be explored. Courses in this program may lead to one or more Salesforce.com industry certifications.

Admission Requirements

Program Eligibility:

  • University degree or three-year college diploma from an accredited institution. We will consider applicants with an equivalent combination of partially completed post-secondary and related work experience. In this case a resume and references must be provided.
  • English proficiency at the postsecondary level
  • A postsecondary level course in introductory statistics (or an equivalent credit)

Note:

Although not required for admission, the following are recommended for your success in the program:

  • Marketing knowledge
  • Prior learning or working experience in accounting and spreadsheet
  • Prior learning or working experience in databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)

As a graduate of this program you will be well placed to find work in a wide range of marketing related careers such as: Marketing Analyst, Media Analyst, Campaign Analyst, Pricing Specialist, Research and Communications Specialist, Loyalty Analyst, Assistant Manager - Performance Metrics, Assistant Manager - Digital Metrics, and Marketing Planner. This field is a rapidly evolving landscape with new job and entrepreneurship opportunities presenting themselves daily.

Work-Integrated Learning - Optional

Optional Work Term

Students meeting all academic requirements may have the opportunity to complete an optional work term(s) in a formal work environment.  The work term(s) is similar in length to an academic semester and typically involves full-time work hours that may be paid or unpaid. In programs with limited work term opportunities, additional academic requirements and a passing grade on a communication assessment may be required for eligibility.  Eligibility for participation does not guarantee a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the optional work term stream regardless of success in securing a work position.

Transfer Credit/Pathways

The Degree and Credit Transfer Office provides a number of services for students continuing their education at Seneca, and for graduating students considering degree transfer options.
