Aviation Management I

Subject Description
The most significant resource in business is the people in the organization. Understanding organizational behavior, motivational theories and group dynamics is central for the effective manager. In this course, the management functions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling are applied directly to relevant elements of a business plan. In addition students will also be introduced how an airline and airport management structure operates in order to function effectively.

Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

  1. Compare management organization structures based on different criteria. 
  2. Explain the influence of Leadership in different organizations
  3. Formulate management communications for business purposes
  4. Conduct Meetings and develop Agenda/Minutes
  5. Create a Strategic Business Plan
